Vaprio d'Adda: a new Water House

Saturday 23 May 2015 saw the inauguration of the Casa dell'Acqua in Vaprio d'Adda in Via Don Moletta that will provide free natural water and sparkling water at the symbolic price of 5 cents per litre.

More and more families are choosing this service, many are in fact the advantagesfor the pockets of citizens, but also for the coffers of municipalities, as well as for the environment.

"If you consider that on average a bottle of water bought at the supermarket costs around 20 euro cents and that each family consumes around three litres of water a day, you can immediately understand how much of a positive impact drinking tap water or water from Water Houses has on your wallet. The savings in economic terms are, in fact, around EUR 2.80 per week and EUR 150 per year,' said the President of Cap Holding.

Not only that, municipalities and the environment also gain: if families choose to fill their (preferably glass) bottles at the Dkr Water Houses and reuse them, they produce less rubbish and thus also reduce the cost of disposing of plastic bottles.
