The dangers of <a href=\"https:\/\/drinkatering.com\/en\/dry-ice-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dry ice<\/a> are three, all of them easily manageable with the right precautions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Cold burns (cryogenic burns)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dry ice is extremely cold and prolonged contact with the skin can cause a cold burn similar to that caused by a hot object.<br>A contact <strong>short and not prolonged<\/strong>, instead, <strong>does not entail significant risks<\/strong>, although the use of insulating gloves is always recommended.<br>To prevent any risk, <strong>avoid prolonged direct contact<\/strong> and use cryogenic gloves when handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.
